We had a great Mother's Day weekend. We spent time at Sea World and wore Elina out. While Elina was having fun with her daddy, Eli was chilling and napping. Thanks for cooperating, Eli!We also got to eat out at one of my favorite restaurants, Zio's. We had the Oreo Mountain for dessert and it was delicious. It consists of all kinds of goodness--hot fudge, ice cream, Oreos. Elina was literally eating pure hot fudge out of the bowl. She was in heaven!
Then on Sunday we had a nice brunch potluck with friends from the neighborhood. Good food and good company.
In the afternoon we just hung out on the deck, eating popsicles. Then we had "brinner"--breakfast foods for dinner. After all, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day!
All in all, a wonderful weekend spent with both family and friends. What more could I ask for? Life is great.
