Eulee is 5!

Hard to believe that our youngest is now 5 years old and in Kindergarten.  And it's hard to believe that life is starting to feel a little bit easier.  Can it be?

Of course every year Eulee's birthday is right around our annual Ice Cream Tasting Party.  Since we had some friends and family over, we decided to throw in a rainbow unicorn cake on that day.

We decided to have a little party at the house, but it was right when Hurricane Harvey was about to hit, so we had to cancel in case of heavy rain and wind.  We ended up rescheduling for 2 weeks later so we JUST had the party.  Even though it was a little late, it was a lot of fun!

We invited 5 friends to Eulee's rainbow unicorn party.  I had all these grand ideas of unicorn related games to play, but all Eulee wanted to do was sprinklers on the trampoline,

face painting, and a dance party!

Totally nothing related to unicorns.  But I did manage to make another rainbow unicorn cake.  So that's something right??  And we had a platter of rainbow fruit too.  Yum!  The party was before lunchtime, so we kept snacks light with just chips and dips.

Elina did a great job with the face painting!  She's been practicing for a few weeks now.  She even had a little sign made up with options.  Talented girl!

The dance party was awesome!  The kids were so into showing us their dance moves.  I love this age, when there is no embarrassment. These kids are talented!

 
Eulee is definitely growing up quickly.  She can read and loves to dance and sing like a Descendant.  She is currently in a stage where she's trying out the art of lying.  She loves to tell stories and exaggerate details.  She is feisty and fights back when she doesn't get her way.  She voices her opinions loudly and she loves to be in charge.  But she gives the best hugs and cuddles with us all the time.  She knows how to work the puppy dog eyes.  And she is the silliest of them all.  Without a doubt, she's the 4th and youngest child.  Ha!  We wouldn't have it any other way.  God had to send us a feistier one, right?  We love our little Eulee!
