Elina has started the "watch me" phase. We have to look at her no matter what she's doing--eating, dancing, washing her hands. When she dances, she'll say, "Watch my scary dance!" Or, "Watch my silly dance!" Honestly, the dances look exactly the same. She has her mouth wide open and she shakes her head back and forth while she dances. And now she loves to make her feet dance super fast. (Think "Flashdance.") So she'll dance so quickly that sometimes she falls over or crashes into something. In this video she's dancing fast and at the end, she inevitably trips over her own feet. But the dancing is really cute.
In these next 2 videos, Elina is dressed to attend an 80s dance party (courtesy of Aunt J). She's got her hair up in a high ponytail and she's wearing a hot pink skirt. J wanted to put her in a midriff, but Elina said, "No, I don't want to show my belly." Mommy has taught you well...
