Elina almost missed her Spring piano recital because she had pink-eye. Luckily, we gave her the eye drops early enough the day before that she was goo-free when it was time to play piano the next day. We were fortunate that her pink-eye wasn't really that bad and went away so quickly. Elina had worked hard to practice and memorize her 2 piano pieces, so she was sad that she might miss the recital.
This time Elina played the Sleeping Beauty Waltz as a duet with her teacher, Miss M...
...and she also played a piece from her Performance lesson book called "The Fly and the Bumblebee."
Elina had a great time playing for everyone and she was especially excited for the yummy treats at the recital after the performances. The kids also got to have some ice cream sundaes at home after that. What a great day!
