My New Trike

The kids' tricycle has been broken for a few months now. It's sad because we haven't been able to teach Eli how to pedal properly, so he just scoots along on the tricycle Flintstone-style. He has actually gotten really really good at doing this and he's quite fast. Unfortunately, this technique has ruined the front of his leather sandals. He was rubbing his sandals on the cement so much that it wore away the leather. So now it looks like an animal chewed through part of his sandals.

After this occurrence, we decided it was time to get him a proper tricycle that actually pedaled. Luckily, I found this nice Kettler trike on Craigslist. We immediately taught Eli how to pedal and after a day or 2 he was a pro. It's about time! Now all he wants to do all day long is to ride his "bicycle."
