Lots of Fun to Be Had!

We've had some fun the past week or so. Here are some highlights--

We've been taking Eli to Miss Anastasia's crazy storytimes and last week Eli's friend, LW, joined us. The topic that week happened to be one of Eli's favorite things--dinosaurs! That wasn't the funny part though...the funny thing was the activity afterwards. The younger kids were provided dinosaur coloring sheets, so LW and Eli were happy coloring. What was amusing was the different "techniques" the 2 kids used to color their dinosaurs. Eli is so good at coloring the details, isn't he? That's my boy!

After storytime, we had lunch at the park and played in the playground for a bit. All the excitement must have really worn the kids out because this was the scene in the backseat when we got home--

We also attended Elina's classmate's birthday party. It was a fun science-themed party at her classmate's house. They hired a "Mad Scientist" to show the kids cool experiments. The kids especially loved anything with dry ice. One of the big experiments was shooting off a rocket. Everyone thought this was so cool...except for our children. Our kids just ran away and covered their ears. Typical! For the finale, all the kids got to make their own jar of slime. You could just hear all the kids saying, "Boogers!"

On another day we headed to the Witte Museum with Ah-Gong and Ah-Ma. We wanted to check out the new exhibit--Backyard Monsters. Eli was scared of the big insects, but in the end we all had fun. We also explored their HEB Science Treehouse and Ah-Ma had a nice jam session with the kids.

It's definitely been fun over here!
