During Aunt A's last days here, we went out to eat some yummy food and the kids had lots of fun...
My cousins wanted to witness the 42" pizza at Big Lou's on the east side, so we tagged along. That pizza is huge...and actually, quite delicious! It's pretty rich because they also sprinkle more olive oil on the top, so it's seriously impossible to eat more than one big slice. Although one slice is the equivalent of 2-3 slices.
The kids thought it was cool to see such a big pizza. Just look at how big a slice is next to Evie, who is 27" tall.

Then we went to Aquarena to ride on the glass-bottom boats over some natural springs. The ride was interesting and we saw spotted gar and lots of turtles.
There's also a little aquarium there that's full of cool fish and sea creatures. We were really impressed with this place...definitely worth the drive out.
Since we were only 30 minutes away from Austin, we decided to head up there for some Sno-Beach sno-cones. SOOOOO worth the trip to Austin! We absolutely love this place...and so do the kids!
