The weekend after Poetry Night we headed out to the River again with A and his family. This time they brought tubes and the kids went tubing down some little rapids. The dads were great at this because they would set the kids up at the beginning, run alongside them on the riverbed while they tubed down, then bring the kids and rafts back up to the beginning to do it all over again. Thank God for dads!
The kids thought this was so much fun! Even little Evie got a ride and loved it.
And then it was the dads' turn to ride in the tubes...they definitely deserved a rest after all their hard work!
It was another wonderful day at the River...

making s'mores, and then taking a nap on the way home!
