Elina had her third piano recital today and she did a wonderful job. She played "The Christmas Song" beautifully and we were all so proud of her! This was the first time Ah-Gong and Ah-Ma attended a recital so she was even more excited than usual. She paused once during the piece, but she maintained her composure (after a quick, reassuring glance from me and B) and finished without any mistakes. She even ended her piece with a cute curtsy. To the right is a picture of Elina with her piano teacher, Miss M. Elina used to take dance with Miss M, so Elina knows her really well.Here is part of Elina's recital piece. Luckily, my dad was able to capture the curtsy at the end.
Of course, no special day for Elina would be complete without dinner at her favorite restaurant, Luby's. Mac n cheese with broccoli are her favorites!
Elina is doing so well with the piano and we are all so proud of her. Great job, Elina!

Nice job, Elina! The piano piece was great but I think the curtsy was my favorite! :) And I laughed at the "Luby's" comment. Just the other day, Lucy was just talking about how great that place was. :)
