First Daddy-Daughter Dance

Our Girl Scout troop decided to host a Daddy-Daughter dance with another troop this year.  Normally, the elementary schools host them, but for some reasons the schools in our neighborhood haven't been doing them.

Elina and B got dressed up for the dance on Friday night.  B didn't want to go too formal with a suit jacket...and Elina didn't want to be too dressy either.  But they both still looked very cute when they left the house.

First they had a little dinner date by themselves at a nearby Japanese restaurant.  Then they headed to the dance.  B said that when they first arrived it was super awkward because the girls were all excited and left their dads just standing around by the walls.  Men don't know what to do with themselves in these types of situations.  It's pretty hilarious!  But then they did some photo booth pictures...
...and the music got started and people got moving.  B was one of the few dads who danced...and unfortunately, the Robot made an appearance.  Elina confirmed it.  I was hoping it wasn't true.  He just can't help himself.  They also did some group dances which Elina really enjoyed.
They had such a fun night together! Definitely Best Dad Ever!
