Every year, Elina and Eli's school brings in thousands of pounds of ice so that the kids can have
Snow Days.
Elina and Eli had a blast playing in the snow! They shoveled it into buckets, made snowballs, and slid on it.
Our local news station even came out to do a story. Here were the pics on

Evie, on the other hand, wasn't as excited. She checked it out for a little bit, but then she decided to run off to the nearby playground instead. She figured that since all the kids were on the hill of snow, she'd use the chance to take over the deserted playground. So, she hit up the sand and playground in her "snow gear" instead.
I think the best part of Snow Days is having hot cocoa afterwards. Evie had her first taste of hot cocoa and I love her expression afterwards...as if she discovered the most wonderful treat ever!
